No matter our lifestyle and diet choices, skin will eventually lose its tightness. Collagen production slows, and skin begins to show signs of age. Plastic surgery offers a range of procedures that can address these changes, but the thought of surgery won’t appeal to everyone. Facetite provides a cosmetic treatment option for anyone who wants to avoid surgical procedures. Dr. Cole is pleased to offer this powerful skin-tightening technology at Cole Aesthetic Center.

What is Facetite About?

Facetite is a non-surgical treatment that rejuvenates skin. It delivers radiofrequency (RF) energy into target areas to bring new life to them. The energy causes a boost in collagen production.

With this new collagen, your skin becomes tighter and smoother. This branch of InMode tech is FDA approved. So, you can rest assured that the procedure is not only safe but effective.

Patients report seeing definition in their faces that they’d never believed they’d be able to see. Facetite focuses on the cheeks, chin, neck, and jowls. Whether it is having a jawline that now stands strong, or seeing their cheekbones give their face new shape, patients report amazing results from Facetite.

Our Clients

We take extra care to make sure that our patients are at the center of everything we do. Our core values are established to bring…

The Procedure

From start to finish, the Facetite procedure takes an hour on average. This can vary if you have decided to combine it with other procedures. Since Facetite is non-surgical, it is easily done alongside other rejuvenation treatments. During your consultation, Dr. Cole will work with you to develop a personalized plan according to your goals.

Anesthesia

If Facetite is your only treatment for the day, then you’ll only require local anesthesia. Most patients will feel almost nothing from the procedure itself. However, patient comfort is one of our priorities. If you feel anxious about the procedure, speak with Dr. Cole about additional measures we can take to ensure a smooth treatment.

Treatment

Dr. Cole completes the procedure with only a single tiny incision. It’s so small that you won’t have a need for stitches, and no scarring will occur.

A thermal field is then created to begin stimulating the target skin. Collagen fibers tighten up, and fat dissolves. Your body responds to the heat naturally by creating new bundles of collagen.

Once complete, you are free to go home the same day.

Facetite Results and Recovery

Since Facetite is minimally invasive, you can expect little downtime compared to surgical skin tightening. Bruising and swelling typically lasts a week on average. For some, it will be less, and others might see it last longer. Compression garments and ice will help out quite a bit with controlling both swelling and bruising.

We do recommend being prepared to take up to a week off work. You will likely feel ready to work right away, but it is essential to give your body time to heal. The results will only improve if you give yourself rest. So, even if you feel like the swelling is gone after a single day, take it easy.

Once the swelling goes down, you should see immediate results. The good news is, your results will continue to develop for the next few months. As your body produces more collagen, you will see continued tightening and contouring. For many patients, they see improvement well into a full year after treatment.

How Long Do Results Last?

The FDA has approved Facetite results for about one year. However, this is only the minimum. Many patients report seeing results for closer to 3-5 years.

In comparison, a surgical facelift tends to provide 8-10 years of visible results.

Am I a Candidate?

Facetite is open to a broad group of people. Best results are usually seen in candidates between the ages of 30-60 years. Candidates may be experiencing moderate skin sagging, but should still have skin elasticity.

Bone structure is also important. Candidates should have an underlying structure that can give shape to the newly tightened skin. There are ways around this, though, such as implants or fillers to provide the face with the needed support.

For older groups, a surgical facelift will likely provide the results they are looking for. But, in any case, it never hurts to ask. During your consultation, Dr. Cole will go over your medical history and goals to determine which procedures and treatments will provide you with the best results.
