Years of squinting, concentrating, or frowning can cause your skin to furrow and crease. As your skin becomes less elastic, the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles are caused by these muscles can still be visible, even when your face is relaxed. Botox is used to relax or paralyze the muscles in the face that reinforce wrinkles through expression and movement. This helps reduce fine lines and wrinkles in areas such as our forehead, glabella (between the brows), and crow’s feet.

Botox Can Help With:

  • Smoothing out minor wrinkles caused by facial movement
  • Softening wrinkles in the forehead, between the brows and around the eyes
  • Minimizing the appearance of wrinkle lines in the neck
  • Relaxing involuntary and sustained twitching of the eyelids or facial muscles

How is the Treatment Performed?

Treatment appointments last about 25 minutes, but sometimes are done even faster. Each treatment is done through a series of tiny injections – no anesthetic is required. You can expect to see your results within about two weeks after your treatment, and the appearance of the area may continue to improve for up to a month or so. We usually suggest a re-treatment in about three to four months.

During your initial consultation, we will help you to determine the areas that need the most correction based on your ability to move certain facial muscles. For more information on Botox and Dysport, please fill out an inquiry form or call/text us at (360) 776-6888.
