Laser Resurfacing Can Help
- Improve the appearance of scars caused by minor trauma or acne scarring
- Remove moderate wrinkles and smooths out the overall texture of the skin
- Even out the overall tone of skin and improves the signs of age spots, sun-damaged, and other discoloration.
- Stimulate new collagen reproduction which helps to thicken skin
Combining Laser Resurfacing With Other Procedures
For patients looking to further improve moderate to severe wrinkles, a surgical procedure may be something to consider that targets the concerned area. A face lift or S-lift can help soften texture around the mouth, cheek, neck and jowl area, creating a more dramatic improvement for texture in the face and neck areas.

How is Laser Resurfacing Performed?
Downtime and Recovery for Laser Resurfacing
Patients can expect to see redness and sloughing of the skin for around 10-14 days. During the healing stages, it is important to try and avoid as much sun exposure to the treatment area as possible, as laser treatments tend to make the skin more sensitive to UV rays. Physical barriers such as hats and visors can help reduce your exposure and sunscreen should be applied once the skin is fully healed.
The MicroLaser Peel is an effective form of skin rejuvenation that produces dramatic results. We offer these peels from 10–50 microns. This treatment delivers excellent results for poor skin tone, fine lines, wrinkles, and sun-damage. You’ll experience 3-7 days of redness and peeling with this procedure.
