Turning on the Heat
SculpSure is a non-invasive procedure that uses heat energy to destroy fat cells. Applicators deliver concentrated laser energy directly into the fat deposit, which heats the cells enough to destroy them. Once they are destroyed, they are eliminated over time through the body’s own processes. The higher temperatures do not damage the surrounding skin and tissue, making this a highly effective procedure with no downtime.
Slimming Down
SculpSure is most commonly used to trim away extra inches around the midsection and love handles. However, the device is also effective for the thighs, arms, and back. Nearly any place where those stubborn areas of fat tend to accumulate is a good place to have SculpSure performed. Four separate applicator heads allow for more than one area to be treated at a time, which significantly lowers the amount of time you are at our office for your body contouring procedure.
Fast Procedure, No Downtime
A single SculpSure treatment takes just 25 minutes to complete, which makes it much quicker than other types of body contouring procedures. The treatment requires no anesthesia beforehand and involves little if any discomfort. Most patients report a tingling sensation as the laser energy is delivered into the fat deposit. Once your SculpSure treatment is over, you can immediately return to your daily activities. There are few side effects and no need for a recovery period after this procedure.
One Procedure Does It All
Most of our patients will see up to 24 percent fat reduction after a single SculpSure treatment. For the majority, this will be sufficient to help them achieve their desired results. Patients wishing to trim additional inches may need to have one or more additional procedures to eliminate the fat and obtain the body contour they are hoping for. Plan Ahead for the Holidays
Results of SculpSure appear gradually over time as the treated fat cells are eliminated through the body’s lymphatic system. You will see slimming start to occur as early as six weeks after your procedure. However, most patients need up to 12 weeks to achieve their full results. That means if you want to slim down in time for Christmas and New Year’s, now is the time to get started.
